Re: Scaffer's book of pain

internet is back, had to change modem for a new one.

New program, going back on 'starting strength'

cleans ( did sets of 5 instead of 3,error)
5x155
5x165
3x185(corrected reps here)
\
press
5x145
5x155
5x165
\
squat
5x250
5x285
5x325
*took numbers from the 5/3/1 week of 3x5reps*'
they only thing that troubles, annoys me is the programming, you're suppose to add 5-10pounds each training but knowing i have a hard time doing 5x345, that could very well mean each training will become a grind but,I do have more time for recovery cause training will be distributed as follow'
monday /cleans/press/squat
thursday/squat/bench/deadlift
saturday/squat/neck press/bb row

Re: Scaffer's book of pain

Right on! Starting strength is awesome! But Mark Ripptoe is a bit of an arrogant fuck lol.
Looks like some good workouts.
I know the whole add weight to each workout is tough, but adding 5lbs to a squat session and deloading/resting properly should help your numbers go up.
Good luck on your new program.

Re: Scaffer's book of pain

I feel like you always push deloading by the side haha. Maybe the deloads will help with recovery? and the 5-10 lbs won't feel so heavy.  I hope this new training plan works out well.  smile

Jacob: I heard  Klokov and Akkaev pulled out sad  That they were "sick".  Sigh.
